Suppliers & Producers

We’re very proud to work with some excellent Spanish food and drink producers and suppliers, who share our commitment to quality and authenticity. Some of the companies we partner with are large, and some are very small – even sole traders; working in artisan and traditional ways. These partners of ours are spread right across Spain, more often than not, delivering the product their region is known for. Through these great Spanish producers, we’re able to showcase the diversity of Spanish food and drink and the importance of regional influences.

Beer

Estrella Galicia is Spain’s largest independent brewery, founded in 1906 in the Galician city of La Coruña, North West Spain. The brewery has remained in the hands of the Rivera family ever since, with its founder’s great grandson currently residing as company president. Since it began exporting outside of Galicia seven years ago, it has risen in popularity to become the country’s fourth largest beer. Estrella Galicia is identifiable in bars by its eye catching ceramic fonts, which have each been hand crafted in the traditional Galician pottery house of Sargadelos.

Gin

With its distillery located in an ancient fishing village between the Costa Brava and the Costa Dorada, Gin Mare captures the essence of the Mediterranean. Every bottle of Gin Mare is unique, using traditional ingredients such as Arbequina olives, citrus fruits, basil, rosemary and thyme. All of this is achieved through a delicate maceration process and the independent distillation of each botanical ingredient.

Sherry

In 1835, a devoted sherry wine lover Manuel María González founded González Byass, counselled by his uncle, Jose Ángel (who was to become the famous Tío Pepe). Five generations later, González Byass has become a family of wine that incorporates other emblematic wineries from all the Spanish regions (Beronia, Vilarnau, Finca Constancia, Pazos de Lusco among others).

Ibérico Ham

Juan Pedro Domecq is a family business producing a 100% Ibérico ham. They farm a unique and almost extinct breed, the lampiño mamellado pig. Their jamón is considered a ‘pata negra’ as it comes from 100% Ibérico pigs fed just on acorns. This particular diet gives the ham its well-known nutty and savoury flavour.

Wine

Located in D.O. Rías Baixas, North West Spain, and known for their classic albariño wines, Terras Gauda has been distinguised by being the one to recover a unique grape variety, the near-extinct caíño blanco. Terras Gauda also owns the renowned Pittacum and Quinta Sardonia wineries in Bierzo and Ribera del Duero.

Cider

Trabanco have been a proud family business since 1925, and are well-known across the world for their quality craft cider. They own over 80 hectares of orchards in Asturias. The apples are processed using traditional methods unchanged for centuries. They use the best varieties of cider apples to make 100% natural juice that ferments with natural yeasts in traditional chestnut wood barrels.
