Txomin Etxaniz can be found in the heart of the charming coastal town Getaria, in the province of Gipuzkoa, in the North of Spain. Located in the Basque Country, this area is known for its culture, gastronomy and white wine, Txakoli. The Txueka Etxaniz family has been dedicated to cultivating vines and making Txakoli wines for generations and is the oldest known estate in D.O. Getariako Txakolina.
Aging on lees. The wine should be poured in the glass to activate the wine moderate natural carbonation. “Txinparta” is the local name for the mild bubbles in the wine when the wine is poured in the glass.
