Majuelo Aged Sherry Vinegar 500ml

This sherry vinegar, made from 100% Palomina Fina grapes, is aged for minimum of 2 years in wooden barrels, rather than the standard 6 months. It is rich and complex with a medium-bodied consistency. Notes of fig, almond, and oak are balanced by slight acidity. It’s an exquisite vinegar that can be used as an alternative to balsamic.




Salad dressings, sauces, cold soups (e.g. gazpacho), and certain fruits like strawberries.


About the producer

El Majuelo is a family-run company in Jerez, Spain. Joaquin’s family has been making sherry vinegar in Jerez for 4 generations. A trained winemaker and cellarmaster, Joaquin took over the business from his father. He uses traditional criaderas and soleras process of transferring vinegars from barrel to barrel over a period of many years, giving the vinegars their unique character. El Majuelo is known as one of the top artisan sherry producers in the region.
